Brent Longnecker Explains The Difference Between Chairman and Executive Chairman in the HBJ

Brent Longnecker is quoted in this HBJ article explaining the difference between a chairman and an executive chairman as it pertains to, Tellurian Inc’s Charif Souki who’s title was elevated to executive chairman. “Usually when you see an executive chairman title, that means that person is stepping up and being asked to do more. He obviously has a skillset that the entire board sees, and they want him to go use it,” Longnecker said. “They’re sharpening the knife for him to go use what he’s good at.” This is particularly relevant as Souki is tasked with pushing Tellurian’s flagship project forward in a distressed market.
