NFPCC Named One of the 2016 Best Companies to Work for in Texas for 6th Year in a Row

For the sixth year in a row, Longnecker & Associates was named one of the 2016 Best Companies to Work for in Texas. Out of the 100 companies given this distinction, NFPCCmp;A took the number one spot two prior years and finished in the top 15 this year.

Established in 2006, this awards program is a project of Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group. It was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Texas, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. To be considered for participation, companies had to meet specific requirements like employing a minimum of 15 employees and operating in the state of Texas for more than one year.

Private, public, for-profit and not-for profit businesses from across the state entered the two-part survey process to be considered for the award. The first part of the survey, which was worth 25% of the total assessment, evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, systems, philosophies, practices and demographics. Worth 75% of the total evaluation, the second part of the survey measured employee experience through individualized surveys. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Texas and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

The 100 winners were revealed for the first time at the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Best Companies to Work for in Texas Awards Dinner and Celebration on March 29 in Austin, Texas. NFPCCmp;A President and Co-Founder Chris Crawford, Managing Partner Kevin Kuschel, and Marketing Director Megan Frommel accepted the award on NFPCCmp;A’s behalf at the event. In conjunction with the event, Texas Monthly also issued a special publication that profiled each winner.

“We are grateful that the culture and company our entire team has built over the past twelve years is recognized with such a distinguished award,” said Crawford. “While we’re not perfect, we are constantly working to practice what we preach to our clients: ‘Do everything you can to maximize your currency in attracting, retaining and motivating the very best talent!’”

NFPCCmp;A Chairman & CEO Brent Longnecker also commented, “Chris and I are very proud of the company we’ve built. We will continue to work hard to ensure our people are excited to be part of the team and thereby motivated to serve our clients to their very best abilities.”
