About NFP Compensation Consulting (formerly Longnecker & Associates)
Longnecker & Associates (L&A) was founded in 2003 as an independent executive compensation consulting firm. In 2007, L&A became a strategic partner with NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property and casualty, retirement and individual solutions.
After operating as an independent brand within the NFP family, in 2017 L&A was formally acquired by NFP. In August of 2021, L&A announced its rebrand as NFP’s compensation consulting practice, thereby integrating its expertise and expanding its capabilities. This rebrand supports new paths for collaboration that elevate value for current and future clients.
Since then, L&A has been in a transitionary period with the full rebrand expected to be completed by the end of 2022. Our alignment with the NFP brand continues an integration with an organization committed to delivering the insight and support clients need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
