Companies are finding ways to avoid compliance with Colorado’s new Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
As explained in this recent article, some corporations are getting creative with their job postings to avoid compliance with Colorado’s new state law – which went into effect in January of this year. The law requires job posts to include salary ranges and benefits information, among other things. Apparently some companies would rather exclude Coloradans altogether from job opportunities than to disclose this information, which is intended to close pay gaps and increase pay transparency.
